Serendip Sanctuary is a gem that’s a 30-minute drive from Tarneit. Come experience the open grassy woodland and wetlands of the volcanic Western Plain and frolick in more than 200 ha of wildlife reserve. There’s an abundance of birds and a handful of mammals (Wallabies and Eastern Grey Kangaroos) that make this spot a must visit if you’re a lover of animals and want to get up close.
