Coming to our backyard soon (more front yard isn’t it?)… St Vincent’s Private is slated to open in 2017 to add to the medical facilities that services our city. This reinforces Wyndham’s medical infrastructure, adding on to Mercy Health who have been operating in Victoria for over 150 years and Wyndham Private.
Additionally, there are reports a $20 million 80-bed aged-care centre will also be built on the site.

A 112-bed private hospital in Werribee is expected to open its doors in early 2017.
The hospital, which will be run by St Vincent’s Private, was announced in June as part of the East Werribee Employment Precinct.
It will be built on four hectares of land on Hoppers Lane next to Wyndham Private and across the road from Werribee Mercy Hospital.
The project is expected to cost $75 million.
It’s anticipated the hospital will be able to treat more than 16,000 patients a year and employ about 270 people.
St Vincent’s Private Melbourne chief executive Ian Grisold said the three-storey hospital would include orthopedic, surgical, urology, obstetric, rehabilitation cardiac, and ear, nose and throat services.
