New schools will be built in Point Cook and Tarneit if Labor wins the state election.
Opposition leader Daniel Andrews announced the schools on Wednesday morning as part of a $87 million plan to buy land and construct schools in eight growth areas and three inner-city suburbs.
Under the plan, a primary school will be built at Davis Creek in Tarneit’s west while Point Cook will get a second senior secondary school.
